September Meeting: Real Time Payments (RTP)

Everything you wanted to know about REAL TIME PAYMENTS!  You will not want to miss this meeting. We will have two (2) expert speakers for this event. Both Mike Riggin from Global Holdings, and Jim Colassano from The Clearing House.  

Please join us for our September 15th meeting where we will hear about Real Time Payments. Faster payments are always a hot topic for our customers. Real Time Payments (RTP) offered through The Clearing House have been live and functional for the last few years. Hundreds of banks are now RTP enabled and offering RTP's to their customers. 

Mike Riggin, Chief Risk Officer and CCO at Global Holdings, LLC has a strong background in banking and is currently responsible for managing banking relationships and all risk, compliance and audit functions for a rapidly growing financial technology company and payment processor in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

His perspective and real life experience using Real Time Payments will be very educational and fascinating. 

Mike Riggin

Mr. Colassano is the product management executive for the RTP® Product at The Clearing House. He has over 30 years of experience in payments & cash management and joined TCH in 2016 to help launch their real-time payments program. He has accountability for TCH owner and direct bank relationships with the RTP program and works with these banks on opportunities and applications that cross all segments and use cases. He also has responsibility for product innovation, corporate engagement on RTP and other product expansion activities across TCH.

Before joining TCH, Jim spent 10 years with HSBC as a Product Executive in their Payments and Cash Management group. During that period, he served as the Global Product Head for HSBC’s Payables business which had responsibility for all faster payments initiatives as well as cash, check and ACH payment products worldwide. Prior to HSBC, he spent 15 years with JPMorgan Chase in a variety of cash & treasury management roles. Mr. Colassano holds master’s degrees in Banking and Finance from Pace University.
